to Twitter to experience the excitement, thrills,
controversy and goals of the World Cup opening game
between Brazil & Croatia
The eyes of the world descended on Sao Paulo for the start
of the World Cup as the greatest sporting event on the
planet kicked off.
Thursday's action began with a colourful opening ceremony
before the main drama took over, with hosts Brazil taking on
Croatia.
The match began in disastrous fashion for the Selecao, as
Marcelo netted past his own keeper, but a double from
Neymar and a late strike from Oscar sealed the win.
There was plenty of praise for the Barcelona star from his
